Professional Experience: I’ve worked as a business lawyer in Seattle, WA since 1986. Prior to co-founding Henke Bartram, I practiced at the Seattle law firms of Vandeberg Johnson & Gandara and Helsell Fetterman LLP, where I was Chair of the Business Department. I’ve advised businesses in a variety of industries and of a variety of sizes, including local, regional and national corporations.

Professional Affiliations:

• Member of Washington State Bar Association (WSBA) Sections on Business Law and Intellectual Property Law.
• Past Chair of WSBA Solo and Small Firm Section.
• Admitted to practice in State of Washington and the US District Court Western District of Washington.

Spending Free Time: When not helping clients solve business problems, I volunteer for non-profit boards, providing them with expertise on corporate and intellectual property issues. I backpack (while I still can) with my sons. Favorite place to hike: Pasayten Wilderness in Washington State. I also fly fish with other authors of piscatorial myths, including my friend and law partner, Dan Henke. Favorite place to fish: not tellin’.
